Why ØSS
Created by Mother & Daughter - Michelle & Shaunagh; ØSS is a Norwegian word meaning “us” and that’s exactly what this space is about.
We chose ØSS because it captures the feeling we’re building, a community where women don’t have to do everything alone, where connection, support and shared ambition sit alongside calm, focused work without pressure.
The name is also personal, Norwegian culture is part of our Scandinavian family tree and we’ve always been drawn to its values, simplicity, honesty, warmth and a deep respect for balance and wellbeing.
ØSS is intentionally clean and modern, signalling belonging, collective momentum and a shift away from the old model of isolated hustle.
It’s a reminder that sustainable success is rarely a solo journey, it’s built through the right environment and the right people around you.

Built for Wømen

Located in a perfectly named street, Queen Street, in the beautiful town of Stamford.
We created this space because too many talented women are trying to do big things in environments that don’t support how they actually work. Home is full of distractions, cafés are noisy and inconsistent, and traditional co-working can feel transactional and impersonal. We wanted something different, a place that feels calm, premium and purposeful, where you can focus deeply and also feel genuinely connected.
Inside, you’ll find a beautifully designed workspace, a communal lounge and a dedicated studio area for personal branding shoots and content creation.
But the heart of what we do is community. We bring together women who are building businesses, careers and lives they’re proud of.
Through creative events, expert led talks and mastermind style sessions, we create the kind of environment where ideas sharpen, confidence grows and friendships happen naturally.
Everything is intentional, the atmosphere, the boundaries, the standards and the warmth. Whether you’re here for focused work, meaningful connection, or creative output - you’ll be supported by a space designed around you.
