Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 7th February 2026.

OSS Spaces is a women-only co-working and community environment designed to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive space for professional, creative, and social collaboration.

We are committed to promoting equality, dignity, and respect for all individuals and to ensuring that our services are delivered in a fair and accessible manner, in line with the Equality Act 2010.

At OSS Spaces, we are committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology.

We aim to make ossspaces.com accessible, user-friendly, and inclusive for all visitors.

Our Commitment

We are working to ensure that this website meets the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, as far as reasonably practicable.

These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone. We strive to ensure that:

  • Text is clear and easy to read

  • Content can be navigated using a keyboard

  • Images include appropriate alternative text where possible

  • Pages are structured logically for screen readers

  • Colour contrast meets recommended standards

Known Limitations

We are aware that some areas of the website may not yet be fully accessible. This may include:

 • Older content that has not yet been fully reviewed

 • Certain third-party tools or embedded content

 • Some documents or downloadable files

We are actively working to improve these areas.

Physical Accessibility Statement – OSS Spaces

OSS Spaces is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all visitors and service users.

Our premises are located within a building that includes stair access and does not currently provide lift facilities. As a result, step-free access is not available to all areas of the building.

We recognise that this may present difficulties for individuals with mobility impairments or those who require step-free access.

Reasonable Adjustments and Alternative Access

In accordance with our legal obligations, OSS Spaces will make reasonable adjustments wherever practicable to ensure that no individual is placed at a substantial disadvantage when accessing our services.

Where physical access to the premises is not possible, we are pleased to offer appropriate alternative arrangements, which may include:

  •  Remote access to events and meetings

  • Assistance with accessing services remotely

Women-Only Space Policy

OSS Spaces operates as a women-only space in accordance with the provisions of the Equality Act 2010 relating to single-sex services and associations.

This approach is intended to provide a supportive environment that promotes wellbeing, safety, and professional development for women.

We apply this policy in a respectful and proportionate manner and remain committed to treating all individuals with dignity and fairness.

Events, Bookings, and Visitors

For events, workshops, and private bookings, we encourage organisers and attendees to notify us in advance of any access requirements so that suitable arrangements can be made.

We will work collaboratively with event hosts and participants to identify reasonable and appropriate solutions wherever practicable.

Continuous Improvement

We regularly review the accessibility of our services, policies, and premises and consider reasonable improvements as part of our ongoing development.

Where future opportunities arise, accessibility considerations will form part of our premises and service planning.

Enforcement and Legal Compliance

OSS Spaces aims to comply with the Equality Act 2010 by making reasonable adjustments to ensure that our digital services are accessible to users with disabilities.

We are committed to ongoing review and improvement of our website’s accessibility.

Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing priority for us. We regularly review our website and take steps to improve usability and compliance where possible.

Future updates will continue to consider accessibility at every stage of development.
