ØSS Terms and Conditions

These terms outline how your membership at ØSS operates. By becoming a member, you agree to the following.

1.    Membership and access
Membership is offered to approved members and is personal to you. It cannot be shared or transferred.
Your membership provides access to the ØSS community and the benefits included within your selected membership plan.
ØSS is a women-only community, and membership is granted on this basis.

2.    Membership inclusions

Your membership includes:

 

• Access to the ØSS community

• Access to the ØSS events programme

• Any additional benefits specifically outlined in your selected membership plan

Some events, services or experiences may require separate booking or payment. Where this applies, it will be made clear before you book.

3.    Events and bookings

 

• Some ØSS events and activities may require advance booking.

• Where a booking is required, you must follow the booking, payment and cancellation conditions provided at the time of booking.

• Event places are personal to you and may not be transferred unless agreed by ØSS in advance.

• Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in restrictions being placed on future event bookings.

4.    Payments and billing

Memberships are billed monthly in advance.
By signing up, you agree to recurring monthly payments through our billing system.
If a payment fails, we may:

 

• Retry the payment

• Temporarily pause your membership benefits

• Restrict access to events or community activities until payment is resolved

 

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel membership where payments remain outstanding.

5.    Changes to membership

You may request to change your membership plan, subject to availability.

 

• Changes will usually take effect from the next billing cycle unless agreed otherwise.

• We may occasionally change the benefits included within a membership plan. We will give reasonable notice of any significant change.

• If a change materially reduces the core benefits of your membership, you may cancel before the change takes effect. Where appropriate, we will refund any payment already made for the period after your cancellation takes effect.

 

6.    Pausing membership

Membership pauses may be offered at our discretion.
Any request to pause your membership should be made in advance and will only take effect once confirmed by us in writing.

7.    Your statutory cancellation rights
If you purchase your membership online or away from our business premises as a consumer, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the membership contract.

If you ask us to begin providing membership services during this cancellation period and then decide to cancel, we may charge a proportionate amount for any services already provided, where permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

8.    Cancelling your membership

After any applicable statutory cancellation period has ended, memberships require 30 days' notice to cancel.
You may give notice by emailing hello@ossspaces.com.

Your membership will remain active during the notice period, and any payments due during that period will continue to be collected.
We will confirm your cancellation and final membership date in writing.

9.    Community standards
Members are expected to behave in a respectful, inclusive and professional manner when taking part in ØSS events, activities, discussions or community platforms.
Members must not use ØSS activities or communication channels for unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, threatening or inappropriate purposes.
Members must respect the privacy, personal information and intellectual property of other members.
Failure to follow these standards may result in restrictions, suspension or termination of membership.

10.    If we need to suspend or end membership

We reserve the right to pause, restrict or end membership where:

• Payments are not made

• Events or membership benefits are repeatedly misused

• A member behaves in a way that does not align with our community standards

• A member places another person's safety, wellbeing or privacy at risk

• A serious or repeated breach of these terms occurs

 

This is to protect the safety, experience and integrity of the ØSS community.
Where appropriate, we will explain our decision and provide reasonable notice. Serious incidents may result in immediate suspension or termination.

11.    Events and practical matters

Event changes
Occasionally, we may need to change an event's date, time, venue, format or speakers, or cancel an event.
Where possible, we will give reasonable notice. If you have paid separately for an event that ØSS cancels, we will offer a refund or an appropriate alternative.

Photography and filming
We may capture photography or video at certain events for marketing or promotional purposes.
We will provide notice where photography or filming is planned. You will have the opportunity to tell us if you prefer not to be included.

Health and safety
Members attending an event must follow any relevant health and safety guidance, venue requirements and reasonable instructions given by ØSS or the venue operator.

Personal property
Members are responsible for their own belongings when attending ØSS events or activities.
ØSS is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property unless caused by our negligence or where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

Damage
Members may be responsible for the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing property they deliberately or negligently damage at an ØSS event or venue.

12.    Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time.
Members will be notified of any significant changes before those changes take effect.
The most recent version of these terms will be published on our website.
