Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 24/03/2026

These terms outline how your membership at ØSS operates. By becoming a member, you agree to the following.

1) Membership and access

Workspace memberships are offered to approved members and are personal to you. They cannot be shared or transferred.

Membership provides access to the workspace in line with your selected plan and our house rules. Access is for members only, unless guest access has been agreed in advance.

ØSS is a women only space, and membership is granted on this basis.

2) Membership inclusions

Your membership includes:

  • Access to the workspace for the number of days or hours outlined in your plan

  • The ability to book desks in advance (up to one month)

  • Use of shared spaces, including the communal lounge

  • Tea and coffee during your time in the space

  • Access to the ØSS community and events programme

  • Workspace access is managed through advance bookings and is subject to availability.

3) Bookings and usage

All workspace use must be booked in advance via our booking system.

Bookings:

  • Can be made up to one month in advance

  • Must follow the booking and cancellation windows set out at the time of booking

  • Your membership allowance is intended for your personal use and should be used fairly.

  • Repeated no-shows, late cancellations, or excessive peak-time bookings may result in booking restrictions or review of your membership.

4) Cancellations and no-shows

  • Bookings can be cancelled or changed within the stated cancellation window.

  • Bookings cancelled outside of this window, or missed without notice, may still be deducted from your allowance.

This ensures fair access for all members and helps maintain the rhythm of the space.

5) Payments and billing

Memberships are billed monthly in advance.

By signing up, you agree to recurring monthly payments via our billing system.

If a payment fails, we may:

  • retry the payment

  • temporarily pause your access

  • restrict future bookings until payment is resolved

  • We reserve the right to suspend or cancel membership where payments remain outstanding.

6) Changes to membership

You may request to change your membership, subject to availability.

Changes will take effect from the next billing cycle unless agreed otherwise.

7) Pausing membership

Membership pauses may be offered at our discretion.

Any pause requests should be made in advance and will be confirmed in writing.

8) Cancelling your membership

Memberships require 30 days’ notice to cancel.

Your membership will remain active until the end of your notice period, and payments will continue during this time.

9) Use of the space

Members are expected to follow our house rules at all times.

This includes respecting the calm working environment, other members, and the shared nature of the space.

Failure to follow these rules may result in restrictions, suspension or termination of your membership.

10) If we need to end or restrict membership

We reserve the right to pause, restrict, or end membership where:

  • Payments are not made

  • Bookings are repeatedly misused

  • Behaviour does not align with our community standards

This is to protect the experience, safety, and integrity of the space.

11) Space availability

From time to time, the workspace may need to close or operate with reduced access for maintenance, improvements or private use.

Where possible, we will always give advance notice and aim to keep any disruption to a minimum.

12) Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Members will be notified of any significant changes.

13) Practical matters

To ensure the space runs smoothly and remains safe for everyone:

  • CCTV and filming

  • CCTV operates within the space for security purposes. Footage is retained for a limited period and accessed only where necessary.

  • From time to time, we may capture photography or video for marketing. We will always give advance notice, and you’ll have the opportunity to opt out if you prefer not to be included.

  • Damage and care of the space

  • Members are responsible for taking care of the space, equipment and its contents. Any damage caused by you or your guests, including within the studio or shared areas, may be charged for repair or replacement.

Appropriate use

The space must be used in a lawful, respectful and professional way at all times.

Health and safety

All members are expected to follow relevant health and safety guidance while using the space. Health & safety policies are issued on sign up.

Personal property and insurance

Members are responsible for their own belongings. ØSS does not accept responsibility for loss or damage.

We recommend that members arrange any appropriate insurance for their own work, equipment or business activities.
