Sjå, meaning 'be seen', is a private self portrait studio created for you to capture yourself with confidence.
Whether you and a friend want to capture fun, effortless portraits together, your family would love the freedom of a private studio experience, or you simply want to practise posing without anyone watching, our self-shooting portrait session gives you the space, confidence and privacy to create images that feel completely your own.
Step into a beautifully lit space, fully set up and ready to go. No photographer watching, no awkward posing, just you, a remote clicker and the freedom to create portraits in your own way.
It is private, relaxed and designed to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, even if you usually hate having your photograph taken.
Our self portrait studio is available 7 days a week.
Alessia and I booked the space for a self shoot to refresh our content bank for Instagram, and it was such a great experience.
The team were so helpful getting us set up with the backdrops and furniture, and they walked us through how everything worked, which was really straightforward.
They left us to it but popped back in to check we were still okay and even offered to tweak the lighting to make the shots even better. Lovely space, lovely team. We’ll definitely be booking again.

How it works

Choose your session
Book 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours depending on how many images, outfits and backdrops you would like.

Arrive camera-ready
We welcome you, help you choose your backdrop, explain the remote clicker and take a quick test shot so everything is ready.

Private shoot time
Once you are comfortable, we step out. You take your own portraits using the remote trigger, with the studio lighting, camera and screen already set up for you.
04
Receive your images
Your images are delivered in an online gallery, ready for you to download, share and use. Within 24 hours.
